Monitors, analyzes, troubleshoots, and/or evaluates hardware, software and other network related problems
1. Provide technical expertise for performance and/or configuration of the enclave networks and systems.
2. Performs general LAN/CAN/WAN administration, including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers. Familiarity with Cisco IOS, F5 BIG-IP, Palo Alto hardware and software a plus.
3. Schedules, coordinates and executes firmware upgrades and hardware migrations.
4. Coordinates with all responsible users and external orgs to resolve network or system incidents.
5. Familiarity with the AWS cloud environment, in particular EC2 and VPC
6. Familiarity with configuring DNS BIND
7. Familiarity with running common commands in Linux OS.
8. Familiarity with scripting and automation, particularly Ansible, is a plus.
Salary: $119k - $247k depending on experience and contract.

Qualifications:
Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Certifications: Compliance with DoD 8570.01-M with a minimum certification of IAM Level II (CAP or CASP+ CE or CISM or CISSP (or Associate) or GSLC or CCISO or HCISPP)
